The ricotta sauce is a classic, simple and tasty condiment. Ours is prepared using only Italian tomato pulp, extra virgin olive oil and fresh ricotta.
This last ingredient makes the sauce creamy and delicate, perfect with penne, orecchiette and tortiglioni. Ricotta is a cheese with humble origins, but rich in calcium, easily digestible and with a low lipid content.
All that remains is to throw in the pasta and enjoy a delicious and healthy meal at the same time.
