The Locanda Italia by Flamigni nougat sheets are made by adding only Sicilian pistachios to the mixture, precious fruits of our generous and fragrant land. Placed and spread by hand, after cooking to cool on large marble tables, the very thin dough becomes a delicate pastry which, chopped into very sweet flakes, is collected in elegant trays. Locanda Italia has selected the Flamigni company for the severity during the processing methods and the choice of the best ingredients, in one word: for the Quality. Flamigni was born as a pastry shop in 1930 in piazza Saffi in Forlì; today the Flamigni production plants have remained in the Forlì area, but also extend over an area of over 12,000 square meters. Here all the Flamigni specialties are created starting from Panettone in all its forms, up to the Torrone and the refined tea and rustic pastry. Keeping the mind-system of work and craftsmanship combined with new technologies, along with the research and care of raw materials, make Flamigni a leader in the sector for the leavened products of anniversaries and the ancient art of nougat.
